ABOUT FOOTBALL TALK
Football coverage built for the conversation.
Football Talk is an independent UK football media and fan platform founded by Mark Dauncey. It brings together football news, matchday information, transfers, statistics and original fan-focused editorial in one place, with a simple principle at its centre: where fans have their say.
What we publish
Our coverage focuses primarily on English football, including the Premier League and EFL Championship. Alongside fixtures, results, tables and live match information, Football Talk publishes original editorial features and commentary designed to explain the stories and decisions supporters are discussing.
Ref Watch is one example: rather than simply reproducing reports from elsewhere, Football Talk summarises the incident, attributes professional analysis to its source, then adds an original Football Talk verdict and a question for supporters to debate.
Our editorial approach
Football Talk distinguishes between confirmed information, developing reports and opinion. Where a story relies on reporting or analysis from another publisher, we aim to identify and link to the source. Our own commentary, summaries and verdicts are written for Football Talk and are intended to add context rather than duplicate somebody else's work.
Automated match data and football statistics are supporting services, not a substitute for editorial content. Editorial material is reviewed and curated for the Football Talk audience.
Corrections and feedback
Accuracy matters. If you believe something published by Football Talk is inaccurate, outdated or needs clarification, please contact us with the page and the issue. We will review genuine correction requests and update material where appropriate.
Commercial independence
Football Talk works with selected commercial partners and advertisers. Paid partnerships do not determine Football Talk's editorial verdicts. Sponsored or partner material should be identifiable as commercial content where appropriate.
Football Talk is operated in the United Kingdom. For editorial, privacy or commercial enquiries, use our contact page.
